They explain how each submarine at Kings Bay has its own FRG—small but mighty groups dedicated to supporting spouses and families through the ups and downs of deployment life. These volunteer-led teams plan meetings, organize social activities, and host fundraisers that make it possible to bring families together for moments of fun and connection. Beyond event planning, FRGs also serve as a bridge for community engagement, helping spouses navigate unfamiliar areas when they’re newly stationed and providing a reliable network of support.
