Amazon ตัดสินใจยกเลิกโปรแกรม Just Walk Out ที่ให้ลูกค้าออกจากร้านขายของชำที่มีหน้าร้านจริงโดยไม่ต้องผ่านกระบวนการชำระเงิน แต่จะเปลี่ยนไปใช้ “Dash Carts” ที่ดูเหมือนจะให้ผลตอบแทนทางด้านการเงินที่ดีกว่า
โดยพื้นฐานแล้วบริษัทได้ลดขั้นตอนการชำระเงินด้วยตนเองให้เหลือเพียงเครื่องสแกนและหน้าจอสัมผัส ติดกับตะกร้าสินค้าแบบพิเศษ
