Today we're chatting with Richard Evans, who's a buyer's agent and from Fortune Property Finder. He's the founder of that property business.
Today's a little bit of a Newcastle centric episode. Newcastle's been a property investment hotspot in the media quite a bit in the last little while, and Richard gives us a bit of a lay of the land as to all the different pockets around Newcastle and an idea about where the hotspots are and what investors need to look for if they're looking to purchase in Newcastle to expand or even begin their investment property portfolio.
He gives us some really great tips as to some of the secret sauce behind buyer's agents and how they can negotiate for their clients and get better deals, how they work at auction with things like auction markers. And he gives us a nice little tip about vacancy rates and how that may predict the movement of property growth prices.
