In the first gardening programme of November, presenter David Maxwell talks to his guests about planting tulips and he interviews to the queen of cut flowers Sarah Raven. With plenty still to do in the garden before winter, David gets some lawn care tips from Neil Porteous at Mount Stewart. Also on the programme, Conrad McCormack profiles air plants or Tillandsia – just how do you grow plants that don’t require any soil?
