Vincent Earls, a revered businessman and employer, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of successful construction projects and community involvement in Ballinasloe and Athlone. Born in 1937, Earls built his construction firm in 1972, expanding into aluminum products and delivering key projects like the towns first EU-funded livestock mart upgrade, Tesco and Lidl stores, Civic Offices, and developments in Athlone including the Radisson Hotel and Silver Quay. Known for his fairness, integrity, and generosity, Earls was a devoted family man and active community member, co-founding the areas development group and reviving the local handball alley. His passion for GAA hurling and football remained throughout his life. Survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends, Earls legacy of hard work and community spirit will inspire generations ahead.
