Show Notes

22-year-old Nathan OBrien, with a history of robbery and theft, was sentenced to three years in prison for a home burglary and a violent robbery at a betting shop. He pleaded guilty to false imprisonment, trespassing, and stealing around €600 and gold chains. OBrien, who had 23 prior convictions, skipped court dates and was in the UK during the burglary. He pulled a knife on staff and a customer during the robbery, but was caught on CCTV and arrested. The judge suspended the last twelve months of his sentence, giving him a chance to turn his life around.
