Astrology FUN! March 23 - Mars conjunct Pluto; Moon Wobble Peaks
Another busy day in the skys Mars conjoined Pluto this morning at 1:20 am eastern time, and the "Moon Wobble" peaks at 3°, but Mars now sets its sights on Saturn (conjunction is Tuesday, March 31) and that energy is square Uranus in Taurus. That's a lot to unpack, plus if you can stay with it, I muse some personal thoughts on approaching all of this. Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/fun-astrology. Astrology Fun! March 22 - Saturn is in Aquarius
My friend Rod Powell, who was fighting for his life on a ventilator in Denver, lost his battle with Covid-19 yesterday. Then, around midnight eastern time, Saturn moved into Aquarius. We have been observing Saturn at 29° while in Capricorn, and if that has been any indication, this sign-change might bring more turbulence with it....we'll see. Another thing to keep our eye on is now the sign & degree square between Saturn and Uranus-in-Taurus, which rules, among other things, finances. Indeed, these are ominous times. Astrology FUN! February 19, 2020 - More on Pisces!
Pisces is best summed up as being most interested in that which is mysterious! From that we can trace most of the other Piscean characteristics. Also, I have a list of jobs mentioned in the episode that is available here: https://www.soulfoodtalks.com/astrology-shoppe Feb 19 - Transcription [00:00:00] And welcome back to the fun astrology podcast. It's the first full day of Pisces now, February 19th Wednesday, Thomas Miller back. Thank you for stopping back by to see what's going on up above. I thought we would continue our conversation when we talked about yesterday in Pisces. Because the two sign changes for this little season have already taken place, and that's Mars moving into Capricorn where it is exalted, and we talked about that on Monday's episode. [00:00:33] And then what happened last night, almost almost at the stroke of midnight Eastern time, the sun moved into Pisces. So this is our first full day, even though the actual in grass was last night. See that's where you have to watch the charts on these transitions. Some of these, when the sun changes signs, because technically the date was February 18th, but you only had 10 minutes of it, right? [00:01:02] But all those babies born overnight, they were Piscean babies. So I thought we might pick up a little bit of where we left off yesterday talking about Pisces, and I mentioned in yesterday's episode that I have it pretty strong in my chart. So this is a connection that even though I'm not a Pisces, I kind of can connect to this sign extra. [00:01:21] Well, and one of the things that jumps out about one of the Piscean characteristics is an interest in the mysterious, the mystic, the spiritual. That to me is kind of a summation and a hub of all of this. Because from there you can explain the dreaminess. You can also from there explained somewhat of the unfocused ness. [00:01:46] It's also where you can find an explain the tendency to want to rescue victims. Certainly is how you can explain the emotions. I mean, Piscean is, are very emotionally sensitive [00:02:00] people. It's not just a water sign, it's a deep water sign. And on the other side of all of this, of course, is the compassion. And the empathy and the caring and probably the most important characteristic of a Piscean is that intuition perception, that intuitive perception radar that a Piscean has that that I don't know that any other sign of the Zodiac has to that degree. [00:02:28] Pies scions can be very intuitive. See that's one of those, I don't know, maybe nature or however this got set up. Put this in place because when you have this disconnection over here and you have this intuition over here, see, to me, that's the best way to live. In fact, Fred Dodson, the author that I've narrated all the audio books for, and I will be finishing number 28 today. [00:02:55] Hooray. Yay. 28 books that I've narrated for. Fred Dodson, and I'll tell you what, people are buying them. They buy them all the time and they do really well. And Fred has really in my reconstruction of my life, which is spoken of all the time at the subconscious mind mastery podcast. Thank you. Thank you for that. [00:03:16] But it's a lot of work to do an audio book. But, I, when I reconstructed my life, I met Fred in 2013 doing an audio book for him. And. He has literally helped me reshape my life. He wrote an article on his [email protected] not long ago, and he said that when he started to finally follow his intuition, that was when his entire life changed. [00:03:43] And I would echo the same thing. Now another little parlay. So you want something of how you can apply this to your chart. If you are not a Piscean is go look at where Pisces is in your chart. And then look at the house and whatever that house is you, [00:04

Astrology FUN! February 18, 2020 - Pisces Season Begins!
Well, it will be tonight for most in the US, but yes...it's Pisces season! This is a perfect time to focus on some of the Picean / Jupiterian / Saturnian characteristics we can paint with this beautiful, watery, mutable sign of the fishes! Feb 18 - Transcription [00:00:00] It's the last full day of Aquarius, and for those of you listening in Europe, it will be a half day of Aquarius. We're going to get Pisces in here. It happens at 11:50 PM this evening. Hi everybody. Thomas Miller on the fun astrology podcast. It is Tuesday the 18th and that means it's time to turn another. [00:00:26] Dynamic over in the astrological calendar as we move into Pisces season. Yeah, it happens to night in, Eastern time, 11:50 PM. So obviously you can walk that back to wherever you are in the world. And thank you for listening. I really appreciate it. And I was cruising through some of the comments on iTunes last night and just really appreciate you guys. [00:00:49] Thank you so much. Got an email from one of you over the weekend that was just at a really timely. Point just said, thumbs up, doing good work. You know, we all need encouragement from time to time, so thank you for sharing the love. I do appreciate it. And speaking of sharing the love, boy, there's not a better sign in the Zodiac to do that than Pisces. [00:01:11] Oh, sure. There are. I'm being, I'm being persnickety. Am I a Pisces? Nope. But close. And here's why I feel this special connection to Pisces is because Pisces has a dual rulership. You know, every sign has a planetary ruler. And Pisces has to, because when the modern planets came into existence. That being Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, they were given sign rulership and Neptune was assigned to Pisces and this is part of astrology. [00:01:42] That just amazes me as how they, how this still just clicks in so well, but Neptune rules Pisces. That's the reason that it is such a special sign for me because Neptune is literally plunked down in my chart right on top of my son. So it's almost like having [00:02:00] this Piscean nature and Pisces is the ruler of my particular 10th house. [00:02:07] So what you can do with this too is listen, and then wherever Pisces is in your chart, you can identify these characteristics in that particular area. So for the 10th house, that's career, right? It's you're shining out in public. It's how you present yourself out, which typically is attributed to the career, but it's also how you radiate out there in society. [00:02:35] And when we're talking about Pisces, we will describe some of these characteristics. And if you have Pisces in your 10th house, we'll talk about a couple of job things too. So Pisces obviously is symbolized his glyphs by the fishes. Gee, that must mean it's a water sign. Absolutely. It is a water sign. [00:02:59] Could it be the water reest of the three water signs, cancer, Scorpio and Pisces? I don't know. Now another association are the qualities and worth mentioning that it is a mutable sign as well. So it is in the qualities sector with Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius. Those are your four mutable signs. Again, somebody asked if I could do more in depth on how these various asset daily aspects affect each person. [00:03:32] And that's where you say it's like, well, yeah, but we'd have to talk about, so if we're talking about Pisces and those associations of the qualities, then we also have to talk about Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. And then if we're talking about the elements, why we have to talk about cancer and Scorpio too. [00:03:49] Now, if we go back to the roots of astrology, Jupiter was the ruler of Pisces. So you can literally paint a couple of different pictures when [00:04:00] we're talking about describing the Piscean characteristics from the Jupiter perspective, does it, so if, if you are a Pisces or you know people who are, do you see ar

Astrology FUN! February 17, 2020 - Mars in Capricorn
Yesterday's thunder was Mercury Retrograde (hear yesterday's episode if you want to her my somewhat warped perspective on Mercury Retrograde) but today let's talk about Mars in Capricorn. He snuck in yesterday morning while we were all talking about Mercury (poor thing), but he's happy in Cappie because that is his sign of exaltation. What does that mean, and how can we use this new stellium in Capricorn to take our soul-work to a deeper level? Feb 17 - Transcription [00:00:00] It's Monday. Monday. Good morning. Good midday. Good afternoon. Good evening. Whenever you're catching this. Thomas Miller. Thanks for joining us on the fun astrology podcast. Kicking off Monday, February 17th with Mars in Capricorn. Now, actually, this happened yesterday, but the big thunder yesterday was of course, mercury retrograde. [00:00:24] It is back in effect and we covered that in depth. Yesterday in the dedicated the entire podcast to it with my somewhat awkward and unique perspective on mercury retrograde. You can catch that. What's kind of funny is right after I released the podcast, I started working on an audio book for Fred Dodson, and I had more. [00:00:45] I now look, I have done 27 audio books for Fred, and I've done about another 27 or 34 other people. So I've got my 10,000 hours behind the microphone doing audio books. I have never had problems like I did yesterday, and it wasn't even in retro grade yesterday, during the day when I was doing this, this was in the morning. [00:01:07] So, I don't know. I was just, by noon I was exhausted. But anyway. we'll see how this one goes. It's in Pisces. Okay. Mars in Capricorn. Let's stay there for this one. That's going to be shorter than what I've done over the weekend because really, we're looking at a couple of big things this week, not only Mars and Capricorn. [00:01:27] We'll talk about that. Tomorrow. The sun moves into Pisces. Now it's not until 11:50 PM so technically, I guess we could say that today and tomorrow are the last two days of Aquarian season, and then we move into Pisces. Actually, I'm really looking forward to this just for my own charts sake. So, we'll talk about that tomorrow as the sun moves in. [00:01:55] We'll do our little Pisces feature. Love Pisces. Pisces is a great [00:02:00] sign. Good water sign. Okay. Let's talk about fire and earth. Mars, the fire reest Oh, there's another fire element in the chart right now too. And that is the moon in Sagittarius. It will be there. The rest of today. It moves into Capricorn early tomorrow. [00:02:20] So here's this moan transiting through fire and Mars just coming out of fire into Capricorn. And there are still, I mean, this is one of the most aspect of charts you could have. Everything has an aspect right now, the way that the Capricorn stellium is and the moon, just the whole positioning of the sun coming out of Aquarius, going into Pisces. [00:02:47] You've got mercury and Neptune and Pisces, and then just over, you have Kyron and Venus in Aries. So it's just the way the whole chart lays out right now is aspect and everything else. So if you have felt a little stirred up over the last about 48 hours, that's kind of what's been the reflection in the middle of the chart with all these aspects. [00:03:10] So let's just recount the Capricorn stellium. So now we have Mars at zero degrees, just broke in the South node is at seven degrees. Jupiter is at 17 now. Pluto is at 23 and Saturn is at 26 so this team is in the Capricorn court until the third week of March. So it's either the 21st or 22nd I can't remember the exact time there, but that's when Saturn moves into Aquarius. [00:03:41] That itself is going to be an interesting little time period because Mars will just about be sitting right on top of Pluto. So, Ooh. Now, one of the things about Mars being in Capricorn, this is an interesting pairing because

Astrology FUN! February 16, 2020 - Mercury Retrograde Tonight!
7:53 PM Eastern, to be exact. I sometimes like to reflect differently on Mercury Retrograde, especially at the beginning!! LOL. This is my take on this first MR of 2020 -which isn't what a lot of others may claim gloom and doom around communications and technology! Feb 16 - Transcription [00:00:00] It's mercury retrograde day. I'm going to debunk some mercury retrograde here, so Fasten your seatbelt. It's time for a Sunday coffee talk. If you're catching this on Sunday, February 16th hi. Welcome to the fun astrology podcast, your unconventional purveyor of astrology here. Thomas Miller. Let's talk about mercury retrograde. [00:00:26] First of all, it goes retrograde at 7:53 PM tonight Eastern time. Now let's talk about what it is first. Mercury retrograde is when mercury passes the orbit of the earth relative to the sun. The earth, of course, takes 365 days to go around the sun. One time mercury does it in 88. Now, the astrological chart is simply a replication of what's going on in the sky from Earth's perspective. [00:01:01] So have you ever noticed if you're passing a car and you're both doing about, you're doing about 62 and the other cars doing about 57 and when you get up close to each other, it appears as though the other car is going backward. Or you could use the analogy of two trains. If you've ever written a passenger train and have been in a position where that train was running parallel with another train, but going a little faster, it looks like the other train is going backwards. [00:01:31] Or maybe you've seen that in a movie. That's the idea of mercury retrograde. It's a perception. Mercury itself is not going backward, nor is any other planet in retrograde. But the Marvel of the skies is so amazing. It is so amazing because it appears to us on earth that it is, and that's reflected in the astrological chart. [00:01:55] So it's technically that mercury is between the earth and the [00:02:00] sun. Now, this last time, last fall in 2019 during mercury retrograde, you could actually see mercury up against the sun. That only happens every so often, but technically mercury is between the earth and the sun at that point. Now with the earth at 365 days orbit and with mercury at 88 one would think that mercury would cross 4.1 times per year if you do the math. [00:02:27] But to factor the times that it is in retrograde, so it retraces steps on the astrological wheel and you have to consider the also almost two or three weeks that it takes to get back to where it was when it started appearing to go backwards. So factoring that time in is why we only have three per year. [00:02:51] Now. What about all the trauma and drama about it disrupting everything in our lives, particularly the things that mercury rules, communication, transportation, flights canceled. Hey, I'm following somebody on. Astro Twitter, the Twitter community of astrology, who was going to get married in Vietnam, I believe sometime this summer. [00:03:15] I can't remember the details, but had to cancel the wedding because of the coronavirus and canceled the trip during the shadow period while mercury was slowing down. And that's just another little brief parentheses. If you're new to astrology. The planets do not move in any kind of symmetric speed or order around the chart. [00:03:37] They speed up and slow down. So that's another study into itself. But just realize that it's not all just symmetric, like things are moving at the same speed all the time. They're not. And that's again, the reflection of what's going on in the sky. Now, science doesn't like anything about the conversation and mercury retrograde. [00:03:57] They science would just debunk the whole [00:04:00] thing is nonsense. I hope that in their debunking, they don't try to write their antagonistic report during a mercury retrograde. It probably will

Astrology FUN! February 15, 2020 - Mars Moves into Capricorn!
This is worth some extra time as we consider Mars (one of hellenistic astrology's two "malefic" planets) moves into Capricorn (ruled by the other malefic, Saturn...which is in Capricorn!). So, you have the 2 malefics in the same sign. Let's talk about what that means, and how it applies to daytime and nighttime charts. Feb 15 Transcription [00:00:00] Welcome to Saturday. We're in mercury retrograde countdown, so we need to talk briefly, at least today, to set the stage for what will be tomorrow, the first mercury retrograde of 2020 hi, Thomas Miller. Welcome back to the fun astrology podcast, or this is your very first fun astrology podcast. Welcome in. [00:00:21] We do these little short bits every day to just talk about what's going on in the sky above the energy. Does your. The energy of the day. So today is one of those charts, and I looked at it compared to tomorrow. It's like, wow, boy, if you were a kid born today, you would have a son of a gun of a chart. I'll tell you, this is something else. [00:00:46] Okay. Couple of things. First of all, that placement that we talked about yesterday for Valentine's day, that. Venus square to the nodes of the moon. I'm not going to regurgitate that today. If you missed yesterday, go listen to that because that energy is still very much in play today. And by the way, did that energy come up for you or your partner if you are in a relationship on Valentine's day dealing with your stuff? [00:01:14] It sure did from a John and me, and I told her about it. We took a walk in the afternoon and I told her what I had said. So she was aware of it and sure enough, as we were talking later in the evening, boy, here comes up. Something that for both of us was a common issue that she mentioned in the conversation. [00:01:34] And, and as it unfolded and we discussed around it, realize that, wow, here was an area that both of us were just resisting or not stepping into fully, let's say in our lives. And made a mutual agreement right there to deal with it. That's exactly what I'm talking about with that Venus square, the nodes of the moon. [00:01:56] So we both got a new entry in our [00:02:00] Saturn Pluto journals off of that one for sure. Now, that energy is still there, but it is also now in a semis square to the moon. So today's difference might be that a, and by the way, the moon is in Scorpio, have you not felt that. So the moon being, I hope you had a good Valentine's day yesterday because the moon being semis square to Venus today with that Scorpio Aries line could be. [00:02:32] Well, it could be fiery or it could be pissy or it could be just full of delicious love. I guess it's how you play it, but when you're sitting there with a Venus in Mars ruled Aries and it's got a nice big, thick red line to the moon in Scorpio. Any astrological interpretation would be a myth if one did not say, row row. [00:02:57] Scooby doo RO. Okay. I think you get the point. Now, there are so many aspects on this chart today that I just do not have time to go over all of them. So let's see. Let's hit the high spots here real quick. Uranus, let's check out Uranus. We always have to keep an eye on Uranus, a trine Mars. Trying the South node and that's it. [00:03:21] We're trying the ascendent too, but let's don't go there cause that changes so quickly. But it's flashing on my chart right now as I'm looking at this. So that's not so bad. Okay. And by the way, we are going to have a couple of planets moving Mars. We'll be moving from Sagittarius. It is on the banana peel 29 degrees, 17 minutes. [00:03:42] That is clearly on the banana peel starting to slip. Mars moves into Capricorn, joins the Capricorn party at 6:23 AM Eastern time tomorrow morning. Now the other change will be on [00:04:00] Tuesday, the sun moves into Pisces. That will be Tuesday night, almost midnight Easter

Astrology FUN! February 14, 2020 - Happy Valentine's Venus-in-Mars-Bending-of-the-Nodes Day!
As you will hear, if you make it to the end, perhaps today's very best Valentine's Day gift to your love is to release some of your crap! Why? It's called the "Bending of the Nodes" and it's a very powerful aspect that is worth discussion today. Happy Valentine's Day & I love you for listening!! Feb 14 Transcription [00:00:00] Happy Valentine's day. I love you. I love you for listening. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. And it is February 14 2020. And we have a Valentine's chart that I've been just looking at for most of yesterday, and I'm still like, okay, Thomas, you got to do the podcast, so let's just roll with what's there. [00:00:31] Those of you who caught last Friday's episode, if you remember, I said that the moon was trying Venus and that it looked like it almost was a better Valentine's astrological chart than what this one was going to be. And for those of you who might have taken advantage of that and done something with your special love on last Friday. [00:00:53] You might've been a winner because the more I'm looking at this chart, the more I'm just agreeing with myself that, wow, this thing is a difficult chart for Valentine's day, especially when it comes to the topic of love. So I thought what we would do is pick apart why. And with this, we're going to go on somewhat of a deep dive into astrology because there's this concept that most astrologers just don't talk about. [00:01:20] And what it is, and this is exactly where Venus is today. I'm sorry, I, you know, as they say, I can't make this stuff up. This is where, this is where it fell. Venus is in Aries at seven degrees. Now, right there, and we've talked about this. Venus is in detriment in Aries because Libra is the opposite sign on the chart from Aries. [00:01:47] And Venus rules Libra. Therefore, when it comes over all the way around the chart to that's opposite. It ain't happy. So mama ain't happy. Number one. Number two, [00:02:00] the North and South nodes of the moon are at seven degrees, cancer and Capricorn respectively. Seven, seven, seven. Okay, so Venus is at an exact square to the nodes of the moon. [00:02:16] And this is what I don't hear a lot of people talking about is called, technically it's called the bend of the nodes or the bending of the nodes and what you do. So here's an astrology thing that if even if you have not used this technique in your own practice of astrology or your own observations of astrology, it's one worth noting. [00:02:38] There are only a couple of articles about it. astro.com has one and it quotes. A couple of articles that were published in the mountain astrologer written by Cathy Allen, and they described the bending of the nodes, and Kathy Allen evidently is the one writer out there with exposure who has the most information on this. [00:03:04] But basically there's the North and South bending of the node. Now, how do you calculate whether it's the North or South? So you find the North node, okay. For our example is in cancer, and then you find the planet or planets that are at a square, and in some rare cases you'll have a square on one side of the axis and a square on the other side of the axis. [00:03:30] So it creates a grand cross. Involving bending of the nodes. How about that? Okay, so just think about this. There's a UN opposition always. The North and South nodes are always 180 degrees opposite each other. Now what we're doing is we're just, so, there's a line, right? You always can draw a line in the chart of that opposition, so to determine which side of that line it's on, you start with the North node. [00:03:58] And you go [00:04:00] clockwise. Okay, so let's make this visual. Think of the North node up at the 12 o'clock position on the clock face. That means the South node is down at six o'clock so if you go clockwise and you come to three o'clock and you see a p

Astrology FUN! February 13, 2020 - Mercury Staging for Retrograde
This is a special day - my daughter's birthday!! The chart for today is almost a mirror of yesterday, so let's focus today on Mercury in Pisces - slowing down and getting ready to go retrograde Sunday evening. There are a few points to take not of and if you want to get communications-related things off your plate before the retrograde begins, there are only a couple days to do so. Feb 13 Transcription [00:00:00] Welcome in to the February 13th fun astrology podcast. This is the first one of these that I've done on this date because the podcast started in March of last year, I believe, and this is a special day. It's my daughter's birthday, so yay. She's doing great. She is knocking the cover off the ball. [00:00:25] She is in her mid twenties and just doing amazingly well. But this is why I say is that I understand the Aquarian perspective. My daughter is an Aquarian. My mom, whose birthday was just recently, she is now in spirit, but she was an Aquarian and her sister was born six years later on the same day. Also, Aquarian. [00:00:46] So it's funny, with all of that Aquarian energy and you know, it's, if, if you don't get complete with something in your life, the universe always gives you plenty of opportunities to do so. So there's this thing in astrology called , it's an astrological word, and it's where you trace the ruler of a sign back to basically its ruling position, or as close as you can get. [00:01:13] What does that mean? Well, it's kinda like this and it gets confusing, but right now the sun is in Aquarius. All right? The ancient ruler of Aquarius is in his, his Saturn, and Saturn is in Capricorn. So Saturn is home. So we would say that. Capricorn is the dispositor of the sun in Aquarius. Does that make sense? [00:01:36] If it doesn't, there's plenty of information. If you Google disposit or dis positories, then you can read up on it. But I was doing this for my Gianna's chart and do you know that every one of her planets dispositive back to Aquarius? So what that tells you is that there is [00:02:00] an Aquarian overtone to the person's life. [00:02:03] So with all that Aquarian energy, if there was something I didn't get complete with it, I sure have the opportunity now because Magena when we kind of laugh about it now, it's like, Oh, you're going to your Aquarian side. But that's an interesting study to do in your own chart is to, see what kind of other. [00:02:21] Overlay energies you might have going on. It's an interesting study. All right. I'll tell you what, this is going to be quick because most of today's chart looks exactly like yesterday, so I don't want to repeat the same thing. And don't please give me a one star review on iTunes. I'm not going to repeat the same podcasts and you guys are so amazing. [00:02:45] Thank you again for just taking care of that little issue. We are right back where we were and I really appreciate all of you who chimed in. And if you, like the show, leave us a five star review on iTunes. We're trying to climb the ladder under the astrology search over there. And you know, if you don't like what we're doing, just a. [00:03:03] Please drop me an email to info at funastrology.com and let's talk about it. Because as I mentioned with that other situation, there might be a really probably pretty good reason underlying it that you might not understand why I'm doing something. And if you have a great suggestion how we can improve around here, I'm all ears. [00:03:22] Would love to hear it. And I would just request to use the energetic high road, you know, that positive side of the chart. And let's talk first. So yesterday's podcast really stands for today. I think we covered it pretty comprehensively. The one thing that I would tee up is that we need to be now focusing on mercury retrograde, which begins Sunday evening at 7:53 PM Eastern time

Astrology FUN! February 12, 2020 - Grand Cross Wednesday!
We haven't had a Grand Cross in the chart for some time that I can remember, so we'll talk about this one with the Moon, the Nodes of the Moon, Chiron and Venus! This one is power-loaded with dealing with our soul's past....the theme of 2019 & 2020 under Saturn/Pluto! Also, we'll talk about the Aries/Libra axis because that's important, too! Feb 12 Transcription [00:00:00] And welcome in to grand cross Wednesday. Otherwise known as hump day. Well, we are halfway through the week and we have for the first time in a long time a grand cross. So we've got a lot to talk about today. Bunch of aspects up in the sky overhead for February 12 hi, Thomas Miller. Thanks for joining us. [00:00:25] Let's get started. I don't know when the last time a grand cross appeared, but we have one today and it involves the nodes of the moon. What is a grand cross? And since we haven't talked about one in a while, it's when there are simply four points in the chart that are joined by squares. Now that would, I mean, if you're thinking ahead of me here a little bit, you would think, well, that means some tense aspect in the chart. [00:00:55] Yes, that would be right. Because you kind of have this, think of it like a frame in the chart, if you will, of tense aspects. Now, what's interesting about this one is it is caused mostly by the moon and the nodes. So the moon is still in Libra. It moved in there last night at six 30 Eastern time. It is in Libra all through today, all through tomorrow. [00:01:22] It leaves and goes into Scorpio at 7:37 PM tomorrow night. Those are both Eastern times. Okay. So as we're looking at the moon's position in Libra, mid morning, early morning this morning, I'm looking at a about eight o'clock Eastern time. It's at eight degrees Libra. The nodes, the North and South nodes of the moon are at seven degrees. [00:01:49] Capricorn and cancer. So there's a square, right? Because let's think about it. Let's go in. So dial order from cancer where the North node is. What's [00:02:00] next little quiz here. Little astrology quiz, cancer, Leo, right? What's after Leo? Virgo, and then Libra. So see, there's three, one, two, three, three, six, nine 90 degrees, and coming around the other way from Libra. [00:02:15] Next Scorpio, Sagittarius. Capricorn. See there's your one, two, three. I always do these reports with my chart and whole sign because we don't talk about houses. Why? Because the houses change so often about every couple of two, two and a half hours through the day. So you know that I'm looking at a moon in the ninth house. [00:02:36] Only applies for a very short window of the day, and you might be listening to this all through the day. So I don't focus on the houses, but I do keep my chart in whole signs simply because it's so much easier to see these aspects and how one relates to the other. So I can very easily see the access line. [00:02:56] North node, South node one, two, three houses. There's the moon. It's what's on the other side of this grand cross that is interesting. Chi, Ron and Venus are basically conjunct in Aries. Chiron is at three degrees. Venus is at five degrees, so the moon is opposite Chiron, Venus and Chiron, Venus square, North and South nodes of the moon. [00:03:24] So there's your grand cross. So not only do you have four squares, so let's just. Put them all in order. Here. Moon is square. The South node, South. Notice square, Chiron and Venus Chiron and Venus is square. The North node, which is square the moon, but you have two oppositions always in a grand cross. So the North and South nodes of the moon are always opposite. [00:03:49] But this time the sun is opposite. Chiron. Venus. Now there's a big theme in this grand cross North and South node [00:04:00] and Chiron folks we are dealing with our past today. I'm thinking, welcome to the future. It looks just like the pas

Astrology FUN! February 11, 2020 - Uranus Trine Mars & Moon Trine Saturn Pluto
Astrologers have been watching Uranus in Taurus, generally recalling the last time it was there in the 1930s when the US financial system was restructured following the Great Depression. Could we see another such restructuring of the world's financial system this transit? Well, Taurus and Uranus represent much more than money and with Mars now in an easy aspect, perhaps it's time to ask the Universe for a few things on your cosmic shopping list - i.e. love or money! Plus, we'll look at the lunar aspects today as well. Feb 11 Transcription [00:00:00] And welcome in. It's Tuesday and I have an answer to a trivia question here on the fun astrology podcast. If you caught yesterday's episode, you heard that I was kind of saying, watch right there at the end. I was saying, watch the moon. It's a trigger. What horse in Western lore was named trigger? I knew this for crying out loud. [00:00:24] Just, you know, when you get up early in the morning and you're doing this and you're focusing on Saturn and Pluto instead of movie trivia, and you're trying to end the show because the music is playing. But a trigger was Roy Rogers Palomino, a made famous, obviously in many Western films, trigger was born a cancer on July 4th, 1934. [00:00:52] And died almost exactly three 31 years later on July 3rd, 1965 I could think of worst gigs than coming back as Roy Rogers CoStar horse in an in another life. I think trigger had 31 great years. Well. Speaking of triggers, another aspect that has moved into position is a another one from Mars. Now remember, Mars was in the big square, the transit long square as Venus was in Pisces. [00:01:28] Now it is an Aries. Mars is now in a trine with Uranus. Ooh. Okay. Now we've been sitting here kind of watching since Uranus first moved into Taurus. That happened in March. It was March 6th of 2019. Uh, when Uranus moved into Taurus, it's been their sense, although for a nice swath of the last part of last year, [00:02:00] it was in retrograde. [00:02:02] But w, you know, just astrologers, I think have been sitting there observing what that might play out to be. It's going to be a seven year transit. So Uranus in Taurus goes for a long time. But it's always pointed out that the last time that Uranus was in Taurus was back in the 1930s speaking of trigger about the time trigger was born. [00:02:24] Actually, uh, was that post depression, new deal, FDR, a restructuring of the U S financial system. One of the most significant things to me is it brought in the federal reserve. Now, Taurus is ruled by Venus, and that can also obviously affect relationships. The structure of love, it could bring you love, it could bring you unexpected love. [00:02:53] It could bring you unexpected money. It could take away unexpected money. It could take away a love. You know, there's just all kinds of ways that you can wrap this Uranus thing around. But if you look at the characteristics of unique out of the blue. Unexpected, et cetera. Change. Put that in the tourist characteristics. [00:03:14] So home earth, digging your toes in your garden. You know, like I say, a Taurus in his garden, Dow shout not part. Some of you Taurus's are laughing right there. Yeah. shaking your head. But tourists love the earth. They love to be at home. They love that structure. And every tourists out there. Yes. Uranus is transiting your sun sign. [00:03:37] Well during this season of this trine with Mars, I would say, uh, the, basically, the thing that I would expect there is that you can amp up maybe some of those changes and make them . So that trine is obviously a favorable or easy aspect, so there's no tension in it. So say [00:04:00] universe, send me some money. [00:04:02] Money, money, money, money, money. Universe. Send me some love, love, love, love. See, you've got this echo in the vocal booth that I haven't d

Astrology FUN! February 10, 2020 - Moon "Triggers" Today - Career Grand Trine in the AM!
There are a lot of aspects today from the Moon including a juicy Grand Trine with the Moon, Uranus and the Midheaven. But it happens at a specific time - around 10:00 am this morning, so if you have a career action you could take today...use this Grand Trine to initiate it! Plus, we'll look at several other triggers the moon could fire off today, including Neptune, Mercury, Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter and the South Node! Wowzer...what a way to start the week! Feb 10 Transcription [00:00:00] And welcome in to a new week, Monday, February 10th this is going to be a not a significant week. Have you been noticing just little things with your technology yet? See, mercury is not retrograde, but it's in what they call the shadow period, so it's, it's slowing down and we'll talk more about that even as the week goes on, especially next weekend as mercury turns retrograde officially on the 16th. [00:00:28] The dates on that, if you would like to edge them into your mind will be February 16th 12 degrees Pisces, and mercury is going to tip back into Aquarius because it turns direct on March 9th at 28 degrees. Aquarius. But yeah, I've just just have been observing and I'm like, things that hadn't been happening is kind of start happening again. [00:00:52] So that's one of the big themes of the week is mercury progressively moving its way more toward a retrograde on next Sunday. Now there's a really interesting and subtle, and for you early bird listeners, you get the worm on this one. Because there's a, a, a grand trine with the moon, which now is in Virgo, moved into Virgo last night. [00:01:16] So there's a grand trine with the moon in Virgo. Uranus in Taurus. And now this is, I'm going to stretch a little bit here. So we have three things at play. You can take this for what you want. Um, the little, yeah, this one's just a little bit dicey, but in Capricorn. Okay. In Capricorn, the closest of the grand trine aspects is with the South node. [00:01:44] But I'm going to go out on the limb here and catch everything here in the optimum time on this. Grand trine is going to be right around 10 o'clock Eastern us time because the Midheaven moves into [00:02:00] Capricorn and is within the aspect of the moon. It's wide. It's wide. I'm going to admit it's wide. But when you have the, now this is kind of like what we had the other day when I said, send your resume. [00:02:12] I think that was on Saturday. This could be a followup to that may be moon in Virgo. There's the whole work connection and there's Capricorn of solid foundations and doing a really good job. And also the South node. And here's the other one, and again, this is wide, interpret it how you will, but Jupiter is sitting there at 15 degrees and at this particular optimum spot that I'm talking about of around around 10 o'clock Eastern time, the moon is six degrees away from Jupiter. [00:02:48] If you call that an orb, then you've got you got it. My little software says yes. So a, there you go. It's designed by some of the best. So what I would suggest is if you are looking for something work related, career related, if there is anything career related you need to do, this would be a really good time to do it. [00:03:11] Send an email, make a phone call, push out a resume, put an application online. If you are searching for a job, do all of the things, think of your mind spinning around, whatever you would do a career wise, this would be a really good time to do it. And it's a really narrow window because, and I'm not going to get into the path of the Midheaven, but the Midheaven moves through the day really, really fast. [00:03:36] So this only just bumps in and bumps out for a wee little bit on the Midheaven piece. Now, the Jupiter moon Uranus piece goes until about noon Eastern time. So if we take Uranus moon, Jupiter, South node, that is from the time t

Astrology FUN! February 9, 2020 - Full Moon in Leo - Fire in the House!
There is a full moon at 2:33 am eastern time February 9, so this episode is being released Saturday night for those of you who might want to use the evening before to do some powerful creating. I also compare this configuration to an interesting one that was in the sky during one of the presidential candidate's public campaign announcement. There are some things we could learn and deploy. Feb 9 Transcription [00:00:00] Hey, welcome man to the full moon out February 9th in Leo. So we could say top of it. Thomas Miller and I am, uh, so this is for Sunday, February 9th. But because this full moon happens at 2:30 in the morning Eastern time, I'm going to release this. On Saturday evening, so that if, so those of you who are, stay up late hours might want to catch it. Those of you on the West coast, this will happen before you go to bed. This is all us time stuff, of course. And those of you insomniacs who just wake up in the middle of the night and want something to do, you might start doing your full moon routine. So let's talk about this full moon at 20 degrees. Leo, this is kind of an interesting thing, and it made me think of something that I saw this week in the astrological [00:01:00] conversations online about inception points in the chart. One of the foundational things about astrology is that everything has a birth time. Whether that's you or whether that's an event, a business, a marriage, and I think that we don't put enough value on inceptions, but that's how astrology works, that everything is based on the time that something is born. And what's super unique about this full moon. Is that it is in Leo fire sign and all about making a statement in the world. So with the sun, obviously opposite in Aquarius and the moon in Leo, and the only real aspect that this full moon has is a trine favorable aspect with Mars. And Mars is still in Sagittarius. Now there's no other side of this that we can pull. Like [00:02:00] Mars is not in a trine with something, so we don't get a grand trine and the moon is not trying with something else over on the other side of the chart. So we're dealing with a couple of fire signs. At least we have what we have the moon in Leo fire and Mars in Sagittarius fire. So I think this is just a great weekend to create around that putting herself out there. So the social piece comes from the sun in Aquarius. The putting yourself out there comes from the moon in Leo and the extra oomph and. Good luck comes from Mars in Sagittarius, which of course is ruled by Jupiter, which is in the sandbox in timeout and Capricorn, but at least it rules Sagittarius. So, Hey, let's take what we can get right now. What caught my fancy in the astrological conversations this week [00:03:00] was the announcement of the presidential campaign for mayor Pete budaj. Now look, number one, rule number one on this podcast, no politics. We all, Republicans, Democrats, independence. If you are in another country listening to this and don't even relate to what that is, uh, we are all under the same sky, right? And it affects all of us. And that's why I just stay politically neutral. Why I'm using this is the unfolding events since this occurrence and it's in the profile. So it's something that we all can look at and relate to. Okay, fair enough. There is no, I mean, zero political inference or reference associated with this. Okay, so let's call him mayor Pete, like he likes to be called, announced his presidential campaign in South bend, Indiana on April 14th, 2019. And I have not looked at all, and I don't even know if it would be [00:04:00] disclosed if he follows or uses astrology. But boy, I'll tell you what if he doesn't, he dumb lucked his way into this one because, uh, I mean, for a road scholar, this was pretty good, let's say. So, the sun on that day was an Aries fire. And it was trying to Jupiter in

Big favor and a little exchange in value. If you would take just a couple of minutes, I would really appreciate it, but we'll talk about that after we talk about what's going on in the chart. So the moon today is in Gemini - right about in the middle, starting out, near 15 degrees. And with that it's throwing a really nice trying to the sun and Aquarius at 15 degrees. You know, there's a lot that's said about a moon sun trine, but one of the things that is especially of note is an extra [00:01:00] grounding feed on the ground. Good solid balance of that radiant energy and that reflective energy. So that will be with us all day today. Now somebody on iTunes, uh, on the reviews had made a comment that they would like to see more how this applies to other areas of the chart. And we could talk about the moon being a mutable sign in Gemini. Uh, that this also might affect Virgos or Sagittarius, or Pisces, or then we would also have to talk about Aquarius being a fixed sign and that it might affect you if you are a Scorpio, Leo or Taurus. But you see why I don't do that? Because there's a really thin line in astrology between understanding something and just getting something you can use. And glossing your little eyes over because that's too much. And also I try to keep these shorts. It's like [00:02:00] if a, I will try to expand. These may be just a little bit, but not so much that it's going to make your eyes gloss over or scale over because that's not the intention of this. And I think when astrologers get talking to Astro speak, don't we all gloss over? I mean, unless you have a chart in front of you right now. Then this is hard to put together in words. So anyway, that's one of the a, that's one of the main aspects. The moon is also throwing a square to Neptune today. And that's a real good segue of the other little aspect that I wanted to talk about. So Neptune is in Pisces now. Neptune takes 164 years to move around the chart. So when was the last time that Neptune was in Pisces? We've, we've talked so much about Pluto, basically. Uh, and it's transit. Back to Capricorn, which takes 248 years. Well, we've got another S. the next slowest mover is [00:03:00] Neptune, and it takes 164 years. So it being in Pisces is a rarity. Now it's sitting at 17 degrees. So again, it's almost halfway through. So we're going to be talking about Neptune and Pisces for quite some time, but it right now, along with Venus. Has a sextile aspect to Saturn, Pluto. Okay, here are the numbers. Pluto in Capricorn 23 degrees, Saturn in Capricorn, 25 degrees. Okay, let's shift over to Pisces. Neptune is at 17 so you can see that's just barely still clipping Saturn, but it is definitely within the bandwidth of Pluto. Venus is at 26 degrees in Pisces. Now, Venus moves quickly, but at 26 degrees, that's basically a dead on sextile to Saturn at 25 I mean, that's a one [00:04:00] degree orb, and it still catches Pluto at 23 three degrees. So this is a big deal with Neptune and Venus in Pisces, sextiling Saturn and Pluto. Now, the duality of this, the polarity, if you will, is that Mars is still square to both of these guys. So there's been that Mars pull on this thing that we'v
