I'm joined by University of Minnesota researcher Ellen Candler. Ellen, with the help of data collected from hunter's gut piles, is researching what and how wildlife utilize the gut piles left after field dressing deer. It's an ongoing study and can still use your help! If you are a deer hunter and have a trail camera available, after your successful hunt and field dressing your game, place a camera on the gut pile and leave it for one month.
