An introduction to the Columbia Central Competition Cheer team and their activities leading up to their upcoming trip to The National Cheerleading Competition in Orlando, FL this February. This episode introduces Brittany Ryan, physical therapist, and Lydia Fowler, registered dietician, and their new non-profit organization called "A Worthy Cause." The goal of this newly formed organization is to provide nutritional health and physical well-being education to elementary students and their families. They hope to accomplish this goal through providing interactive and supplemental activities in Maury County grade schools beginning sometime in the next school year. Also, Kimberly Bryant with Educational Staffing Solutions comes on as a guest to discuss the very pressing need for substitute teachers and the growing opportunities for interested applicants to become substitute teachers in Maury County.

Along with recognizing Mr. Gaines's extended career and outstanding work in all levels of Maury County Schools, we also discuss the current staffing needs for Maury County Public Schools and the growing work of the Career/Technical Education (CTE) Department in our school system.

This episodes introduces the new director of Special Populations, Leslie Crawford, who takes over this position for Lisa Ventura since she was promoted to Superintendent. Colonel of the USAF; Nicole Tibbets, STEM Program Director of the STEM Coalition; and Lane Gilchrest, President of the STEM Coalition.

This episode celebrates and explores the project Based Learning Project conducted by Mr. Harvey's 5th Grade History Class at Mt. Pleasant Middle School. They put together a series of 1920's style radio shows and songs that were broadcast on a small local radio station.

Hannah Miller, Communications Liaison for Columbia Fire and Rescue, discusses the upcoming "Survive to Arrive" safe driving campaign in conjunction with Maury County Schools. Also, Calista Barberi, recruiter and trainer with Youth Villages, talks with Jack about the continuing need for foster parents to help with the work of Tennessee Youth Villages.

This episode centers on the introduction of Dave Hall, Facilities Director for Maury County Schools and the myriad jobs he and his crew are responsible in the building and maintaining of the system's physical facilities.
