This week we start Chapter Three: ‘The Revolutionary Strategy of the Centre’ which deals with the strategy pursued by the German Social Democratic Party, or the SPD. The SPD was the most successful socialist revolutionary party in a major western power to this date, right up till it met with disaster by backing the German state in the WW1.
