Scrub Jay, a small literary press, returns to Fresno after nearly two decades, aiming to diversify its roster of writers. The press, now run by volunteers, plans to publish an anthology of sixty Fresno writers, focusing on women and writers of color. The presss revival honors Fresnos poetry past while embracing the citys changing scene. Since restarting in 2024, theyve published zines and plan to release Wild Blue volume three on April 25th at Judging by the Cover bookstore.
