Hanford Police Arrest Suspect in Shooting Death of Sully Cortez Neri
In a swift response to a Monday morning shooting, Hanford authorities have apprehended Jason Harris, suspected of killing Sully Cortez Neri, a 25-year-old from Los Banos. The incident unfolded around 3:35 a.m. on Northstar Drive, where Neri was found with gunshot wounds and later died at Adventist Health Hanford hospital.
Investigators, including detectives and street crimes team members, conducted extensive door-to-door inquiries and reviewed surveillance footage from River Oaks Apartments. They discovered that Neri had met Harris there, and during a struggle, he shot her multiple times before fleeing.
