Show Notes
The Central Valley Dance Festival, themed The Power of Hope, aims to raise suicide awareness on April 12th at Fresno Veterans Memorial Auditorium. With over twelve dance groups, the event seeks to unite the community through dance, a universal language. Founder Cristina Mendoza-Howell, who lost loved ones to suicide, and COO Jesse Sanchez, a long-time participant, lead the initiative. Kids under 12 can attend for free. Support the cause by donating to their GoFundMe page.
