Waiting for the Word From SCOTUS: Will AB5 Take Root in California? - Enterprise Fleet Summit

The Supreme Court is deciding whether to review a lower court decision that would make California's AB5 the law of the land in that state. So far, an injunction that is now more than two years old has kept the law, which more strictly defines what constitutes an independent contractor, from being implemented in trucking. If the Supreme Court decides not to review it, AB5 will immediately go into force. What happens then? Greg Feary, President & CEO of the Scopelitis law firm, gives his views on the road ahead. He is joined by FreightWaves Executive Editor and Oil Market Expert, John Kingston, in this fireside chat.
