This sermon, The Dirt, reflects on Jesus’ parable of the soils and calls us to examine the posture of our hearts before God. Just as the condition of the soil determines the harvest, so the state of our spirit determines how the Word of God takes root and bears fruit. Whether hardened, shallow, or choked by the cares of this world, every heart can be renewed through repentance and surrender to Christ. When we cultivate “good soil” through humility, receptivity, and obedience, God promises an abundant harvest of faith, joy, and kingdom fruitfulness.
