Show Notes

This week’s Frankie B’s Reggae Session brings together rising stars and reggae greats in one seamless mix. Nashville newcomer Levon Gray sets the tone with “Million Ways,” followed by Kayland Arnold’s smooth Florida groove on “U.” From Jamaica, Dahvid Slur teams with Karbon for “Do Jah Works,” while Claye and Gentleman bridge UK and EU sounds on “Nature (I Am Here Now).” Royal Blu, Mortimer, and Paris LaMont keep the energy high before the legendary Sister Nancy steps in with her classic “Bam Bam.”

Yeza links with Rory Stonelove for “Road Runner,” Lila Ike and Protoje take us “All Over The World,” and Barrington Levy joins Cutty Ranks for “Dance Hall Rock.” After the break, Cocoa Tea and Tarrus Riley uplift with “Good Life,” Naomi Cowan keeps it fresh with “Up To Di Time,” and Protoje rides the rhythm on “Feel It.” Christopher Martin, Cham, Damian & Stephen Marley, and another Royal Blu x Protoje link-up lead to Dahvid Slur’s “If It’s Not For Me” and Johnny Osbourne’s stirring “We Need Love.”

We wrap with a deep dive into dub, pulling the sound back to its roots. For more reggae stories and artist insights, check out Behind the Mic on YouTube.
