E100th Podcast! D-Day/ WWII Veteran Bill Pekrul. Bill was on the 2nd Wave of the Normandy Beach invasion. He landed on Omaha Beach Dog Red. Bill fought in 4 different countries during tour, including Battle of The Bulge. He encountered Nazi Work Camps with Jews and other prisoners. Bill was awarded 2 bronze stars and a silver star amongst other commendations and foreign awards. Bill will be 96 years old in December. This episode will be available August 2nd.
