Great podcast with Steve and Ryan from ResQ Environments. Both of them are GWOT/Combat Veterans with years of medical/flight surgeon experience. Their company trains fire depts and companies on active shooter response and controlling the bleeding! This was a great podcast and, I think the seriousness and importance to just carrying a tourniquet will spark a lot of conversation.

My good buddy Kyle Mindola drove from Hudson, WI to join me on the podcast. Kyle is an Air Force/ Iraq Veteran. He was Security Forces and also went to 18+ countries protecting 2 different SECDEFs. Kyle is an avid bow hunter and we shoot 3D Archery for HHA USA. Kyle is a great ambassador and mentor to me for archery.

Brennan Wegener came on my podcast and he shared his story about addiction, military, transitioning, and sexual assault. He runs A Journey to the light Ministries nonprofit. Brennan died 3 times do to drugs and flatline. He's a warrior, survivor, and ambassador. 100th Podcast! D-Day/ WWII Veteran Bill Pekrul. Bill was on the 2nd Wave of the Normandy Beach invasion. He landed on Omaha Beach Dog Red. Bill fought in 4 different countries during tour, including Battle of The Bulge. He encountered Nazi Work Camps with Jews and other prisoners. Bill was awarded 2 bronze stars and a silver star amongst other commendations and foreign awards. Bill will be 96 years old in December. This episode will be available August 2nd. Retired Captain Jason Church- Army/ Afghanistan Veteran was on the podcast today. Jason shared his humble beginnings from his time at UW- La Crosse and ROTC. His time at Wisconsin Dept of Veterans Affairs. We talked about his time at Ranger School. He shared his deployment to Afghanistan and loosing both of his legs to a daisy chained IED. Jason and talked in-depth about woke society and being grateful for what we have. Jason is a highly educated, experienced, tested leader. Top notch ambassador to the MIL/Vet community.

Wisconsin DAV State Commander/ Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran Matt Kempainen was on the podcast. Matt shared his story about his service, personal struggles, the veteran community, and the awesome work the DAV does around Wisconsin and the nation. Matt is a phenomenal veteran advocate and community member.

Great episode today with Mark Provencher. Mark retired after 22 years as a Marine. He is also a Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran. Very passionate veteran advocate and currently works for the Wisconsin Dept of Veteran Affairs- Veteran Outreach and Recovery Program. Mark shared his story today. Highs and lows that he has experienced and how he uses that to help others. Mark is a fantastic ambassador and mentor in the MIL/Vet community.

Tech For Troops President/ Executive Director Mark Casper came on the podcast. We spoke about his service in the Marines as a "Hawk" missile operator, veteran homelessness, The Matrix, transitioning, and Technology. Phenomenal podcast about how they are getting computers to veterans with an emphasis on rural veterans. I was honored to meet Mark.

Paul is a great leader and his vision, ethics, and passion are refreshing it's great to have him in our community. He likes to see others succeed.

Dan Buttery CEO/President of the Milwaukee War Memorial. Dan is an OG Iraq Veteran and founder and former president of the Fisher House in Milwaukee. Dan was also Assistant Deputy of the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs. Former Commander of 724th Engineer Co. Wisconsin Army National Guard. Just an absolute great veteran advocate. It was a great time talking about resiliency, Wisconsin history, the war memorial and so much more!

Aaron Hunnel was on the podcast. Aaron will be riding his bike across America with Project Echelon to raise money for suicide awareness/ prevention. Aaron also attends and is active with myTEAM TRIUMPH. Absolutely incredible athlete and veteran ambassador.

Today on the podcast my new friend Daniel Miller. Air Force Veteran who guarded Nuclear Missile Silos. Dan talked about the genesis of why he joined the military and 1 faithful party he hosted that catapulted him into the Air Force. Dan is now a real estate agent in the Appleton/Fox Valley area.

Gold Star Father Mike Brennan. Mike is a Desert Storm veteran, served 28 years as police officer and retired. He is now a real estate agent in Madison area. Mike is such a great person and his story about his son Josh is powerful, emotional, and healing. We have to make sure our Gold Star families are being included in our community.
