Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement is what we'll continue learning about on Foundations today. It's the time of the year - the only day of the year - when the Jewish High Priest was permitted to enter the Holy of Holies in the Temple to make atonement for the sins of the people. Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement in the Hebrew Calendar. It's one of the mandatory Feasts of the Lord that God said His people were to observe every year.
