Icy roads are melting, and traffic issues in northeast Indiana are improving. Light rain is expected late tonight, potentially turning into freezing rain in colder northern regions early Thursday. A warm-up is on the way, with highs reaching the mid-sixties to around seventy degrees from Friday through Sunday. However, a strong cold front arrives Sunday, potentially causing widespread storms, and Monday will be much cooler with temperatures several degrees below average.
