Hanjung America, a South Korean company, is establishing its first U.S. manufacturing plant in Huntington, Indiana. The facility will produce cooling systems and fire extinguishers for large energy storage units, supporting Indianas expanding energy storage supply chain and creating over 440 high-wage jobs. The project received state and county support, with groundbreaking scheduled for April 2023 and operations starting in June 2027.
