Cato, the beloved K-nine, retires after years of service with the Allen County Sheriffs Department. Known for his drug detection, explosive searches, and rescue work, Cato supported forty-seven drug seizures, tracked down forty-eight people, and helped make thirty-eight arrests last year. He transitioned from New Haven police to Leo Junior Senior High School, where he served as a school resource officer, providing comfort and security to students. Cato will now enjoy retirement at Officer Bolingers home, but his legacy as a school legend lives on.
