The Maumee Valley Networks Flag of Honor Giveaway aims to distribute a new American flag every month from 2022 to 2026, honoring everyday heroes in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Collaborating with Collins Flags and Lee Kinstle Sales and Service, the giveaway coincides with Americas 250th birthday celebrations. Jeff Blackmore, a veteran and volunteer, received the first flag, surprising him with a heartfelt presentation. Nominations are open through the Maumee Valley Networks Facebook page or by emailing owner Scott Bigham.
