Bellmont Lady Braves clinch first-ever girls basketball state championship, defeating Roncalli 55-46 in a thrilling three-A final. Standout performances from Mary Bleke, Lanie French, and Ashley Bleke led the Braves to a historic victory, marking their first trip to the state finals with a 25-3 record. The teams only senior, Bri Converset, was honored with the three-A Mental Attitude Award. Coach Andy Haim praised the young squads confidence and looked forward to future success.
