Three individuals are in custody in Grant County following a botched gun sale turned armed robbery. The incident occurred on March 28th around 8:10 PM near 800 S and 350 E. The suspects, Skyler Wayne Gifford, Robert Eugene Bodkins the fourth, and a seventeen-year-old boy, are accused of luring the victim with a firearm deal, then robbing him at gunpoint, stealing cash and guns, and leaving him stranded. Deputies apprehended the trio near a house in Marion without incident. They face charges including robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, intimidation, and firearm theft. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
