Show Notes

Nottingham Forest were on the wrong end of yet another 3-2 score line this weekend, as the Reds suffered defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League. But could we have got something out of this game if it wasn't for silly mistakes by our players and terrible refereeing decisions.

After Forest had fought back from falling behind twice in the match, with goals from Elanga and Hudson-Odoi, and the score at 2-2, Awoniyi was sent through on goal from new goalkeeper Sels, only to taken out by the Newcastle keeper. Yet the referee and VAR refused to give a penalty, and within minutes Guimaraes had given the away team the lead and all three points. So who's faults is it for this defeat, should we blame VAR or should we look at our own in game errors for the cause.

In todays video we will dissect Saturdays match and look at the key five points we can take from the match, such as where does this result leave us in regards to relegation and will the returning AFCON players offer us a turnaround in results.
