Nottingham Forest has officially announced the signing of Carlos Miguel
from Brazilian club Corinthians as their new goalkeeper. Despite the
excitement surrounding this addition, the reveal video left fans wanting
more, as it turned out to be a bit lacklustre.
In other transfer news, Nottingham Forest is still on the lookout for a
defender to strengthen their squad. Two names have been linked with
potential moves to the City Ground: Jaka Bijol and Étienne Youte
Kinkoue, with possible transfer fees of £15m and £7m respectively. This
seems to confirm manager Nuno's desire to bring in more defensive
reinforcements.
Amidst the summer transfer buzz around incoming, Newcastle United have
again shown a keen interest in Nottingham Forest's player, Anthony
Elanga. As Newcastle looks to bolster their squad with a new right
winger before the season kicks off, Elanga remains one of Newcastle's
top targets.
