Mangala looks set to leave Nottingham Forest this January transfer window, with both Napoli and Juventus showing firm interest in the Belgium international, today a new name has been thrown into the equation, with French side Stade Rennais stepping up their interest.
With Napoli and Juventus both interested in a loan option on Mangala, Stade Rennais might be the more tempting offer on the table with reports suggesting they have tabled a loan with obligation to buy for £21 million. But would Mangala himself be keen on moving to France, or would be prefer to go to one of the Italian giants.
We also have an update on Nuno's transfer plans for this window, with the talk being that Forest will be targeting attacking players, which means it is unlikely there will be room or funds to sign a new first choice goalkeeper.
