Muharram In this episode, we will be discussing about Muharram, which is one of the most important months for Muslims and marks the start of the Islamic New Year. The 10th day of Muharram, called Ashura, is an important day for Muslims. It marks the day Nuh (Noah) left the Ark, and the day that Prophet Musa (Moses) was saved from the Pharaoh of Egypt by God, crossing the Red Sea with his people. We will also touch on how Sunni and Shia Muslims mark Muharram differently. For many Sunni Muslims, this month is the beginning of the Islamic New Year and symbolises peace and reflection.

In this episode, we discuss about sacrifice in Islam, with the Prophet Ibrahim (as) and his son Ismail (as) as an example. It reminds us of their strength of faith, and of God’s favour and mercy upon the believers.

Some people mistakenly believe that humans' needs take priority, so animal rights are not an urgent issue. Others find excuses to be cruel to animals.

Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organisations in need.

From the pronunciation of the salam correctly to saying the salam to both known and unknown people, whether it is to a guy or a girl.We will also be discussing on the topic of backbiting and slander, which is so widespread that it has become the topic of people’s meetings and an avenue for expressing their anger, misgivings and jealousy.
