Job 27 marks the start of Job's last stand, where he delivers a prolonged defense of his innocence in chapters 27-31. Despite acknowledging divine justice and the eventual punishment of the wicked, Job adamantly denies any wrongdoing, appealing to his conscience as proof of his innocence.
