Job 23-24 | When Will Things Be Right Side Up?

In Job chapters 23 and 24, Job expresses both sorrowful longing and hopeful expectation. He longs for the day when the righteous will be rewarded with God's presence, purification, and pardon, while also questioning why the wicked seem to prosper without immediate punishment. Job's ultimate hope lies in the gospel, which promises the vindication of the righteous and the destruction of the wicked when Christ returns to establish his kingdom.
