The Houston Texans turned it around quickly last year. After going just 3-13 in 2022, they selected rookie quarterback CJ Stroud early in the 2023 NFL Draft and he led them to a 10-7 record last year and won the AFC South. They didn’t hesitate to add talent in the off-season trying to capitalize on a chance to win now with a franchise quarterback on a rookie deal. They brought in the Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs and running back Joe Mixon who bring massive experience to two key skill positions. The team really focused on the defensive line and the defensive backfield in both free agency as well as the NFL Draft. With a win total set at 9.5, the Texans are also favored to win the AFC South (+105), much higher expectations than they had last season.
