Dr. Meeta Singh is a Physician and psychiatrist, who specializes in the science of sleep. She works with athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WTA, Soccer Teams, Olympic teams, as well as executives and others who must operate at consistent peak performance. Sleep plays a major part in the overall performance metric of pro athletes, especially considering travel management, sleep deprivation and jet lag related to maximizing athletic performance. She has a World Series ring with the Washington Nationals, she’s an avid tennis player and a fan of cricket. Lindsay Berra talks with Dr. Singh about the importance of sleep, how to get the sleep we need, and what to do when circumstances work against a rest regime.
