Show Notes

God commands us to honor the Sabbath Day. But how many of us treat Sunday as just another day, devoted to errands, chores, homework and other tasks? Do we take time outside of an hour at Mass to speak with God? Do we take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with family? In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees confront Jesus on the meaning of the Sabbath day. Sr. Ann reflets on the readings:

1 Samuel 16:1-13

Psalm 89:20, 21-22, 27-28

Mark 2:23-28
