Jasprit Bumrah and Harshit Rana finished off the Aussie tail bowling the side out for 104. India pushed to a lead of 218 at the close of play thanks to a fluent innings from the visiting openers. KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal walked off at stumps 62* and 90* respectively.
