Rohit Sharma decided to rest himself for the 5th test. Vice captain Jasprit Bumrah won the toss and decided to bat. The pitch turned out to be full of danger and the Indian batters sustained continuous blows from the Australian bowlers on their way to 185 all out on day one at the SCG.
