Thomas Junker ist ein deutscher Biologiehistoriker und Sachbuchautor. Junker lehrte Geschichte der Biowissenschaften an der Universität Tübingen. Von 1992-1995 war er Mitherausgeber von Darwins Briefwechsel in Cambridge. Er hat zahlreiche Bücher und Artikel zur Geschichte und Theorie der Evolutionsbiologie und Anthropologie veröffentlicht.
