It's sweet, its hilarious, its incredibly exciting, and features multi-universal fight sequences. Doctor Strange 2 is Sam Raimi's first movie in nearly 10 years. Does it feel like a Raimi flick? Is it too gory or scary to take your kids? Tune in to hear Olivia and Isaac discuss perhaps the most true-to-life depiction of Flyover Country in any movie they’ve yet covered, Nia DaCosta’s breakout film Little Woods. DaCosta recently became the first black female director to have a #1 movie at the box office with the terrifying reboot of the cult classic horror Candyman. Little Woods debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018 to critical acclaim, particularly applauding Tessa Thompson and Lily James’ performances. DaCosta is directing the upcoming sequel to Captain Marvel, The Marvels, starring Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris.

Directed by beloved Chinese filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai, Chungking Express is the story of two cops, down and out in the realm of romance, and the women they fall for. On June 11, 2004, Napoleon Dynamite was released in six theaters after a premiere at Sundance Film Festival. It went on to become one of the most iconic indie films of all time, not to mention a cult classic film. Quoted and loved by millions, Isaac and Olivia among them, the film has transcended American culture and remains timeless, relatable, hilarious, and an inspiration to young filmmakers. This is the most any of the Flyover Film Country co-hosts has laughed on-mic.
