“Tripping On A Puck In A Minny Heart” PIT@MIN 11/17/22 Nordy. It’s not a word. Marc Andre Fleury won’t play tonight, Tristan Jarry will. My head is full of music and actual bagels and pizza, as I play out-of-town gigs with my band in the states Garden and Empire. I’ll be home in the Burgh for Thanksgiving week, and so will the Penguins - kind of. First, though, they’ve got to get through Minnesota (tonight), Winnipeg, and Chicago, none of which sounds easy and each of which seem, after the past few weeks of miserable hockey played by the Pens, almost like a likely L for a team who simply can’t seem to find its game. We pray to the hockey gods tonight, for cohesion among a team stacked with talent, for a W, for …just about any damned thing.
