“Ca-SEY! Ca-SEY!” PIT@DET 03/28/23 Goodness, Gracious. What a monumental victory on Saturday night, over the Washington Capitals at home in Pittsburgh. What appeared to be just another “blown lead in the third period,” was, in fact, a story destined to end a bit differently than those which Pens fans have become accustomed to having read to them before bed. Casey DeSmith was responsible for some downright mind-blowing saves in this one, and the crowd let him know it. A great result, on a night of great consequence for Allegheny County’s NHL Franchise. The Penguins are back in action tonight, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The Redwings have a knack for playing spoiler this time of year, so in the words of Jurassic Park’s chief tech officer, Ray Arnold, “Hold onto your butts.” Thank you for listening!!
