Rob has been tying flies since spring break his junior year of high school. It is more than an art. He ties for fun and commercially. Rob teaches a monthly fly tying class in Arlington, Va monthly. He is renowned for his use of everyday materials that are repurposed into fly tying material.

This episode is about all the tools and terminology used in the process of taking a bare piece of metal and attaching natural and synthetic materials to it with the intent of having a fish eat it.
