Show Notes

Rob simplifies the tackle needed for fly fishing.

All rods and reels and lines catch fish. The difference is the cost of the gear, its durability, and its functionality. Rob suggests all fly anglers have a three weight (WT), five WT, and 8WT. Why do all anglers start off with a 5wt? Which rods give better reach? How have European nymphing rods evolved since this was recorded. Switch rods and two handed rods in general were not fished or known by most anglers in 2010.
