En: It was an early winter morning on the Karlův most.
Cs: Sníh jemně pokrýval dlažební kostky a Vltava tiše plynula pod mostem.
En: Snow gently covered the cobblestones, and the Vltava river flowed quietly under the bridge.
Cs: Město bylo vyzdobené vánočními dekoracemi.
En: The city was decorated with Christmas ornaments.
Cs: Teplé světlo vyzařovalo z pouličních lamp.
En: Warm light emanated from the street lamps.
Cs: Jan stál na mostě a zachvěl se chladem.
