Show Notes
Today, we honor Sacagawea, an iconic figure known for her role in the Lewis and Clark Expedition. A Lemhi Shoshone woman, Sacagawea brought her knowledge of Native languages and cultures to the expedition, facilitating cross-cultural connections during one of the most significant explorations in American history. Her presence helped bridge divides and foster mutual understanding among diverse groups, and her life has since symbolized the importance of resilience, curiosity, and gratitude. As we celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Culture Month, Sacagawea’s legacy reminds us to approach life with an open heart and a spirit of gratitude for the lessons and discoveries that come our way.
