如果沒有了「忠誠」，愛還在嗎？還可以尊重或信任彼此嗎？
婚姻誓言的名句是：「無論順境或逆境、富有或貧窮、健康或疾病，我將永遠愛你，承諾對你永遠忠誠。」
為甚麼「忠誠」成為量度親密關係最重要的指標？當我們將「忠誠」放在至高無上的位置，親密關係會因此經歷甚麼考驗？多少戀人伴侶，因為「出軌」、「背叛」而不再相愛，無法繼續尊重或信任，毅然斬斷情絲。
其實，為甚麼「忠誠」這麼重要？為甚麼它凌駕了親密關係中的其他元素？將忠誠放在第一位，將它絕對化甚至神化了，是否一種「戀愛潔癖」？
