Episode 712 - Daniel O’Connor is a First Class Father and retired CIA agent. He spent twenty-six years in the CIA, and as an Executive Senior Intelligence Service Officer, was the Chief of Security for five CIA Directors of Intelligence (DCI) and their Deputy Directors (DDCI). He served both at home and overseas ensuring that the Directors were protected while they were in office. Dan had the distinct honor of working with outstanding DCI/DDCI team members and was responsible for their safety and security as well. Episode 710 - Charles Strange is a First Class Father and Gold Star Father of Michael Strange who was killed in action on August 6th 2011. Michael served in the Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Petty Officer First Class and was a part of the DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6) unit that killed Osama bin Laden. Ninety-three days after the Bin Laden raid, Michael and his entire unit was killed when their Chinook helicopter, Extortion 17, was shot down by the Taliban in Afghanistan. The tragic event was the largest single loss of life incident in Naval Special Warfare history. In 2013, on Nick's second combat rotation to Afghanistan, he and his Detachment fell victim to an insider attack ultimately resulting in the loss of his leg.
