Lisa suggests using the term “building relationships” instead, as that is something we do naturally. She also reminds us that people love to help, so don’t feel guilty for asking others to have coffee or make an introduction or even a referral for you. But you do have to ask for specific help because if they don’t know what to do, they won’t do anything.
