Franchising has been and from time to time can be, a shady business. In the past, due to a lack of protections and regulations regarding franchising, distrustful individuals have made use of franchising to run scams. As a result, the FTC requires the development and relay to all prospective franchise contributors of a Franchise Disclosure Document or FDD that provides buyers with validated information to assist in the decision to franchise. On today's show, Ralph discusses the ins and outs of the FDD and what prospective franchisers need to know!
