Show Notes

The stats start hopeful –– more women in college, more women in the workforce, more women in the c-suite –– but life for women in the United States continues to feel like two steps forward and ten steps back. Recently, theSkimm wanted to better understand how women were feeling about things like job prospects, healthcare, parenting, mental health, and more. So, they partnered with The Harris Poll to conduct a study of women from all different demographics to create their truly eye-opening report on the State of Women Today. Today, Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg join host Tori Dunlap to break down that report and talk about the ways we can work day to day to make the lives of women in the United States better and more equitable.
