American Animals Director Bart Layton
British filmmaker Bart Layton began his career in reality TV with the groundbreaking series Locked Up Abroad. For his latest feature American Animals, a true story of a heist gone wrong starring Evan Peters and Barry Keoghan, Bart faced a host of new challenges. Chris Gore interviewed Bart during the SXSW Film Festival where the two discussed his transition from reality TV to features and beyond.
