Film of Familiarity is an album that went from lost reels to real! GG Deluxe was a band born of passion and a shared love for music. Led by Ger Bol, a seasoned bassist and renowned songwriter with roots in the legendary Nicky and the Shouts, the band featured a lineup of talented musicians: Ruud Banus on piano, Gerrit Veen on bass guitar, Lukas Kruizenga on drums, and Albert (Appie) Alberts on saxophone. Thanks to Lucas Kruizenga, who kept the Reel to Reel tapes and with the guidance of FilansyZ, the enigmatic sixth member of the band, GG Deluxe is ready to step out of the shadows and onto the world stage.
